Carl Wolfgang Benjamin Goldschmidt, Minimal surface of revolution edit

  • Reviewed: Vanguard Cave
  • Comment: I'm aware the above hook is slightly longer than 200 characters; however, this is a hook for two separate articles, each with a really long title. If necessary, the hook could be shortened thus, by taking out a few words and using Goldschmidt's initials:

  • Length, creation date, and sourcing all check out. I'm not fond of using MathWorld as a source, and for the minimal surface of revolution one it's the only source for about half of the text; see e.g. this book for what looks like better sourcing on the Goldschmidt solution. Nevertheless, I think the sourcing is already adequate for DYK purposes. —David Eppstein (talk) 01:23, 4 September 2012 (UTC)
