1908 FA Charity Shield edit
- ... that the first FA Charity Shield match, held in 1908, saw Manchester United draw 1–1 with Queens Park Rangers?

- Comment: I'm a little early, but would it be possible to save this for August 10th as that's when this year's match is due to take place.

Size and date of expansion are fine. AGF for the hook fact's source and for close paraphrasing since the vast majority of sources are subscription-only. Note that I adjusted the wording of the hook slightly to clarify that it was the first match ever, rather than the first of that year. QPQ has been done. I believe the rule of thumb for date requests is within six weeks, so the hook should be good to go on August 10. 97198 (talk) 15:27, 3 July 2014 (UTC)
