Paraphrasing

Đorđe Nemanjić edit

  • Length, 5x expansion, date and hook verified. Zoupan as four DYK credits and does not yet have to review another nomination. I am concerned about WP:Close paraphrasing from John Fine's The Late Medieval Balkans though. At least the paragraph with the hook ("The struggle between the two family branches continued under George...") takes phrases and sentences almost directly from Fine, p. 50. (Google Books preview). Please make sure you rewrite any prose that has been copied in this manner in your own words. Toдor Boжinov 11:12, 23 March 2012 (UTC)
  • The revisions that Crisco noted did not resolve the closeness of wording. The wording of a large part of the article was very close to the wording of that source (which, interestingly, provides a preview in the Bulgarian Google Books but not in the English Google Books). I've reworded much (but not all) of the problematic passages. However, given the extensive "borrowing" of words that I found, I cannot accept the rest of the article on good faith. --Orlady (talk) 16:32, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
