Paul Sumner

I'm pretty sure Paul Sumner is not fictitious as photographs of Zzap reviewers appeared quite regularly in the magazine. My guess is someone's having a joke at his expense. No, Paul Sumner was a pseudonym used by many contributing writers, including Dominic Handy. (see ex-editor Gordon Houghton's website http://theburrow.zzap64.co.uk/zzap/zzapers/wherearetheynow.html ) Nreive 10:36, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Lucy Hickman

Lucy Hickman was never the editor of Zzap. She was managing editor of Impact's videogames magazines, but was never the hands-on editor of this particular title.

Staff Writers

The 'Staff Writers' section should be expanded or re-written to include info on the staff. Maybe even amending the section to 'Staff Members' to include all staff like editors and staff editors. Fictional staff could be included as a sub-section. Nreive 15:28, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Cleanup Expansion

The article as a whole needs a little clean up as the first section describes the initial history and then this is repeated in the 'History' section. More info is also required on the magazine features, regular content, covertapes?? Nreive 15:28, 3 October 2007 (UTC)

Cleanup is slightly misleading. Not a cleanup required, but more of an expansion on certain areas. Yes, it was a C64 magazine - so was a lot of other magazines at the time. What made Zzap!64 notable and different from the rest? Detail notable features and content. Also the Staff writers section needs worked on. At the moment it's just a list of names. Who are they? Zzap! 64 Magazine is Back!

I've seen that this magazine is back in print, covering new C64 releases for the last couple of years -- Issue 18 of the new run was just published in February of 2024; It appears to be published quarterly. -- Sources:

I believe this article should be updated to include the current evolution of this magazine, as most of it talks of the magazine in past tense, but it has been re-continued in the past couple of years in a high profile way, and the article's brief mention at the bottom while still referring to the magazine in the past tense doesn't really do it justice.
