One thing I've tried to do, with adding these publication histories to D&D articles, is to list all the variations for the creature that have appeared throughout the years. Although in some cases the lists have been exhaustive, with the zombie article I simply had to keep the list shorter - there were simply far too many variants for me to want to try to deal with them all! The image Image:T1VillageHommletCover-Color.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here.
