For context, the footballer occupied the Zico article name for ages. Some random guy move it without discussion. For page view certainly the Brazilian footballer is the primary topic. Also only the Brazilian footballer tag as level-5 vital article. Matthew hk (talk) 15:21, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

• Comment: I would have speedily closed this and moved it back for procedural reasons, except that I do in fact agree with the move. If you compare the two main entries, they are neck and neck. There is perhaps a subjective argument that the footballer is more "important", which I don't doubt, but I hesitate to weight pageviews for living people differently based on preference. I would have set up a WP:DABTEST, but currently too many links for the footballer point at Zico so the results would be biased. (The goal of such a test would be to see where people who land at the disambiguation page prefer to go.) Anyways, the proper way forward would be to move it back and start an RM there, but to reduce the amount of red tape, we can just hold this RM here as is and default to moving it back if no consensus is achieved.   How, Zico the Brazilian footballer is not the PRIMARYTOPIC? The other footballer entries either only use Zico as part of their name (as given name) and probably attribute to Zico the legend footballer . While for English world Zico (rapper) is nowhere the PRIMARYTOPIC. Zico Football Center is named after the Brazilian footballer. Or you mean ZICO (beverage) is a candidate to challenge the status of PRIMARYTOPIC? Matthew hk (talk) 15:44, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

  Zico (rapper) is not the primary topic, but is enough to knock the footballer off the pedestal. The pageview statistics between the two are very close, and have been for years so this isn't some WP:RECENTISM thing. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 15:48, 3 July 2020 (UTC)
