The name of the tree should be written in hiragana not katakana, surely? (unsigned, 08:36, 19 May 2006 User:194.201.223.50

It's pretty common to write the words for plants and animals in katakana, even those considered "native". It goes against what we learn from textbooks, but click over to the Japanese page and you can confirm this.Boneyard90 (talk) 20:03, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
