The article claims An alternate translation of zafu is "cushion for sitting" or "sitting cushion", where za means "sitting" or "sit" and fu means "cushion". However, neither 蒲 nor the 布 of 座布団 means "cushion". Jpatokal (talk) 02:06, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
I removed the sentence. It doesn't have any reference and while it is common to consider a zafu a "sitting cushion" that doesn't mean that term is a legitimate "alternate translation". Helpsome (talk) 18:57, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
