This article needs a major rewrite. The most egregious flaw is the tone of breathless enthusiasm, exemplified by the following:
- "the cityZENN will be rechargeable in less than 5 minutes, feature operating costs 1/10th of a typical internal combustion engine vehicle and be 100% emission-free!" 199.46.199.232 (talk) 20:36, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
- Not to mention the fact, frequently omitted in discussions of electric vehicles, that all of the additional electricity to charge these vehicles has to be produced. Yes, we are making strides in solar and wind power, but much electricity today is still produced by burning coal or petroleum products. So the vehicle isn't "emission-free"; rather, the source of the emissions merely has been shifted from the vehicle's exhaust pipe to the power company's smokestack. Something that *must* be kept in mind. Also, since there is still some debate over the health effects of long-term exposure to electromagnetic fields, the increased exposure from driving such a vehicle for a few hours every day cannot be dismissed until the EMF-health issue is settled for good.
