Talk:Young Latvians

I replaced the term Young Latvians with New Latvians due to it being more precise. Although the movement may have been based on 'Young Germany', I do not think it is appropriate to translate it as Young Latvian because it is simply too ambiguous in English. You can translate 'jauns latvietis' as Young Latvian which means just a young person of the nationality but the term 'jaunlatvietis' immediately will have a political association. I do not think these two terms with different meanings should be mixed when translating to English. English offers a good alternative with the word 'New' which has been used with similar movements. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.198.247.97 (talk) 14:12, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
