Naming edit
The article was moved from Yoko Soumi to here per WP:MOS-JP. However, per her official profile on Mausu Promotion, her name is spelled as "Yoko Soumi", which is more or less her official romanization. Should we move it back? Thanks, Lord Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 09:13, 4 February 2017 (UTC)

Yōko Sōmi → Yoko Soumi – As per the relevant guideline at WP:MOS-JP#Modern names, "Use the form personally or professionally used by the person, if available in the English/Latin alphabet." - "Soumi" is correct and "Sōmi" is wrong in either event, I think (this is a non-standard reading of 沢 to me). It doesn't qualify for "ō" because the "u" belongs to the second kanji. However, I'm not sure the linked site qualifies as self-identification. I would prefer to move this to Yōko Soumi for accuracy. Dekimasuよ! 22:54, 21 December 2019 (UTC)
