The Uyuk-Tarlak II is one of the Yenisei Inscriptions. I suggest having it all on the same page until there is sufficient information for a split. Gusfriend (talk) 07:44, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose: This page is poorly sourced and was made by translation of the Turkish wikipedia. Also those inscriptions are coming from different peoples, not from single group. Beshogur (talk) 10:55, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
  • Weak support: This article is still quite fragmentary and, as Beshogur says, is not well-sourced. However the Elegest_inscription and the Uyuk-Tarlak_inscription pages are currently just parallel texts, and that would fit better on this. It would be better to break this page up into multiple pages if the number of translations included grew to a lot more. Biktor627 (talk) 21:21, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Number of inscriptions edit

@BurakD53: you recently edited the number of inscriptions in the article from 184 to 158. What was your basis for choosing 184 as the right number? There were two conflicting numbers in the article plus another implicit contradiction in the list not matching up with either number Immanuelle (please tag me) 01:33, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

158 to 184* I hope it's the right number. My Turkish source says there are 184 Yenisei inscriptions found. I guess 158 is not current and maybe 184 too. There are always new found inscriptions. BurakD53 (talk) 02:03, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
Because archaeologists are constantly finding new inscriptions my suggestion is to place the number at the end of the first paragraph only and update it as new ones are found, or remove it altogether Immanuelle💗 (please tag me) 04:02, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
