Where to find the product specification???

I have visited the following site http://www.office.xerox.com/site-map/software-solutions-current/2/enus.html

and the Docushare spec link has brought me to the following page http://docushare.xerox.com/products/ds_products_ds.html --222.67.219.94 (talk) 09:31, 28 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Response edit

Apologies for the slow reply. Please see the following links to product literature about Xerox DocuShare:

• Resource Center: Brochures (http://docushare.xerox.com/resource/resource_pb.html) Individual brochures on DocuShare, DocuShare CPX, and other features and add-on modules.

• Resource Center: White Papers (http://docushare.xerox.com/resource/resource_wp.html) Include some more detail on workflow, security, and records management capabilities.

I would also like to add detail and citations into the article in the next week (please see below). (This note was contributed by SHawley2; I'm with Xerox.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by SHawley2 (talkcontribs) 00:55, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Intention to make corrections and additions to Xerox DocuShare article edit

My name is Suzanne Hawley, I am a Public Relations Manager at Xerox. I work from 13.13.137.1. As seen in the article (and mentioned in the recent editing history), the article needs citations or footnotes, and neutral point of view writing. There are also places where it’s currently incorrect or not up to date.

We plan to make the following changes in the next week, to correct information, add citations, and add neutral summary material:

• Add a summary sidebar and sections on History, Product, Partnerships, See Also, and References (all currently missing, but typical in the entries of other vendors in this space).

• Correct and update product info in the “Features” section (and fix grammar).

• Rename the current “See Also” section to “Competitors” (similar to other vendor entries).

• Following the suggestion of editor Nicholas1981 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Nicolas1981), remove the section called “Details.” This section includes extensive detail about system requirements that is already formally maintained on the company website (www.docushare.com), and is not up to date here. We do not see this level of detail covered in Wikipedia entries about other software offerings in the content and document management space, and our perception is that readers are better off going to the company website for the most up to date information.

Please let me know by messages here (or at <email address removed>Smartse (talk) 10:22, 3 September 2010 (UTC)) if you have comments, objections, or further suggestions for these planned changes. As always, we request that people will continue to add photos, notes, changing info, etc. to the new material. Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by SHawley2 (talkcontribs) 00:36, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

    • My name is Clint Mosso and I am the web manager/designer at Xerox DocuShare and will be making some of the modifications listed above. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cmosso (talkcontribs) 22:11, 3 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
    • Because we've made recent updates to the article, I'd like to remove the section under Product starting with 'DocuShare:' followed by several bullets (the section is not up to date and includes a level of detail not used in the rest of the article). Please let me know if you have comments(I'll remove the section 3/22). —Preceding unsigned comment added by SHawley2 (talkcontribs) 15:31, 20 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Intention to edit Xerox DocuShare article (Oct. 2011) edit

My name is Suzanne Hawley. I am a public relations manager with Xerox (working from 13.13.137.1). I would like to make the following updates soon to correct the article to DocuShare v.6.6, and edit text that has been flagged as "jargon":

• Edit opening to reflect four DocuShare products (not three).

• Under "Workflow/BPM," and "Imaging," edit text flagged as jargo, and add v.6.6 features. Under "Recent Partnerships," add 2011 Xerox-ABBYY partnership.

• Add new cross-links to Wikipedia articles where relevant.

Please let me know by messages here if you have comments, objections, or further suggestions for these planned changes. As always, we ask that people continue to add photos, notes, changing info, etc. to the new material. Thank you. SHawley2 (talk) 22:56, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
