I find the claim that Xenophilia is any more than a band or the love of foreign things or persons dubious. The only source is a solitary website specializing in the artwork of the claimed meaning. Contributions suggesting this meaning have only been made by unregistered members, and could very well be the same person. It was previously tagged for deletion, and I'm not sure if that tag was properly removed.Melander 20:16, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've monitored the online uses of this word for many years now to protect my trademark and have never seen the connection to Zoophilia mentioned. In about a decade of running Xenophilia.com I've heard many definitions including "Love of the Chinese" and "Sex with aliens" but the most typical definition is "Love of foreign things or persons." or more generally: "Love of the strange." -- I agree totally with the above. I don't think it has any affiliation with zoophilia and the "Exophilia Examples" seems a bit out of place. I think it might deserve an article still, but absolutely needs cleaning.

-- well, i let the tag stand for more than a month, there was no arguments on this page for the dubious link to paraphilia and exophilia, so i removed it all. Articles pretty sparse, should maybe consider making it a redirect to the band and putting the wiktionary tag there... Melander 05:40, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

-- took a look around, found the Xenophily was pretty good, so i'm going to redirect Xenophilia there, and leave a tag for the band there too Melander 15:30, 6 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Clean up Talk edit

Hello. Saw the message that this page needs to be cleaned up. Working on it now. What in particular triggered this message? Thanks. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 169.237.138.110 (talkcontribs) .

  • Looking at it, I would say it's the inline links, some of which lead externally and some of which should be replaced with [[ ]] syntax. --User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 01:05, 31 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
