Reading order edit
From what I've read, these books don't really forum a series in the usual sense; they're more like several different series and some stand-alone works sharing the same setting. Should this be moved to "Xeelee universe", with Xeelee Sequence possibly used to refer to a specific set of books in the universe?
Also, when making chronological lists, I prefer to sort by when the last scene in each book or sub-series is - basically try to have each one advance the overall history a little past the end of the previous one. --68.44.13.236 05:04, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

- Definitely not a sequence or series in the usual sense. Xeelee Universe would be much more descriptive. However, Baxter himself refers his works as "Xeelee sequence", so this should stay. --217.18.181.18 (talk) 10:56, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
- Both actually. I agree that "Xeelee universe" would be better. But since Baxter calls it the "Xeelee sequence" we should keep it that way since it seems kind of an "official" name. - I don't think he means the author descibes the novels' setting as "Sequence", rather using "sequence" to describe the complete set of xeelee novels. 92.2.11.108 (talk) 12:33, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

- It's been in the "Collections of short stories and novellas" table for quite some time, but I've now added it to the "Xeelee Sequence main novels" table as well. SpecFic (talk) 08:51, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
