Talk:Worky

This is an impartial, factual article regarding the website www.worky.com It has been created for personal use by an interested party and there is no information contained in the article to suggest that it has been created for any illegitimate purpose.

Creating a page for 'personal use' is not the reason for Wikipedia's existance. Creation of a page 'by an interested party' is against WP:conflict. --Korruski (talk) 10:22, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Simply containing facts is not sufficient justification for an article's existence. You must demonstrate notability --Korruski (talk) 10:31, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Also, bear in mind that press releases, and stories based entirely on quotations from an organization's personnel are unlikely to be sufficient to establish notability, per WP:CORP --Korruski (talk) 10:55, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article is notable as it is the latest business venture of Ray Nolan, successful Irish entrepreneur. Links have to been added to demonstrate its notability. Articles about the company and company founder have appeared in a wide variety of independent publications, including The Irish Times and The Irish Independent. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Princessbekky (talkcontribs) 11:24, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • I note that roughly half the article is devoted to Ray Nolan in matters unrelated to the current company. While a brief bio of major company officials is fine, spending half the article explaining all the great things he did that were not Worky.com seems off. To me it says that either Ray Nolan warrants his own article (which may very well be true), or that there's really not a lot to be said about Worky itself. I have tried to amend this article slightly to make it more objective. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Schweppsy (talkcontribs) 19:45, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
