Merge Discussion edit

I think it should be merged... especially as alot of the info in this article is already stated in the Scrabulous article. But then again... I was the one who created the redirect in the first place. So, I might not exactly be impartial. Qb | your 2 cents 11:45, 4 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Strong Keep Wordscraper is a very different phenonemon from scrabulous. It is a game design application and it is the first example of a collaborative game design application (certainly the first one that is likely to be at all sucessful). Give this article a chance to grow. Wordscraper is currently being redesigned and there is likely to be a lot more to say about it in the near future. KeepI think it should be kept as an article since Wordscraper has been on Facebook since January 2008. It gained popularity after the removal of Scrabulous from Facebook. As noted above, improvements and changes are scheduled to be done to Wordscraper, which should make for a more informative article in the future. --Startstop123 (talk) 16:45, 6 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
Strong Keep Scrabulous as a game exists on Facebook for non North American members, and also on its dedicated site. Wordscraper is different.--PremKudvaTalk 04:28, 14 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Should 'Differences to Scrabulous' section be deleted edit

I have tidied up this page a little including giving a more thorough explanation of what Wordscrapper IS, rather then just what it ISN'T (ie differences to Scrabulous). I have streamlined the 'Differences to Scrabulous' section but I am of the opinion that this section should be removed completely. --The opening paragraph of the article states that Wordscraper is not a replacement for Scrabulous, in this way I feel having a section saying how it is different to scrabulous makes the article contradict itself.

Independence from Facebook edit

Is http://wordscraper.com/ new? As of Oct 1st it is only a placeholder. Is this related to Scrabulous becoming Lexulous and the related legal struggles? (My finding it was.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.22.119.103 (talk) 16:48, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Linking to Facebook edit

Per WP:External links, links to social networking pages should be avoided. An exception to this is to allow official web sites maintained by the subject of the page, and giving further information about the subject. If the link to Facebook in this article is the developers' official page, it can remain; otherwise, it should be removed. Cnilep (talk) 17:36, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
