Maintenance templates

First off, the links to TarHeelBlue.com are broken, since the University has changed athletic sites from TarHeelBlue.com to GoHeels.com. At the very least, I think Woody's old bio can be pulled up via Archive.org. The retirement link can maybe be pulled up from GoHeels.com and replaced (instead of being found on Archive.org). And those two links need to be properly cited. (I may do all of this soon, but if not, this is a notice for another editor, if there is one out there that knows more about Woody than I do, to do so.)

I feel the Tar Heel Sports Marketing inline link can be cited instead of directly linked in the article itself.

As for the original research, the thing that concerns me is "Many Tar Heel fans brought their radios to Kenan Stadium and the Dean Smith Center, and fans watching on television often turned down the sound so they could hear Durham's radio call." I have personally seen people bring radios to the DESC, and I personally have turned down TV sound for Woody (and Jones Angell), but there's not a citation that can prove that part as fact. You can cite individual people that have turned down TV sound for Woody (like Jones), but not large groups of people, not without a verifiable link.

I can also cite Woody saying "Go where you have to go and do what you have to do" via a link I found while doing research for Jones' article, but not the "During close games" part. THE evil fluffyface (talk) 14:19, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

Another update: Since I've now found a working biography link for Durham, I've noticed that "Many Tar Heel fans..." part reads verbatim or nearly verbatim to this link about his radio show on Isothermal Community College's website. (This link is already cited in the article.) I will proceed to take out anything that reads like it came verbatim from this biography, and, for the moment, instead of the "Many Tar Heel fans..." part, I'll add and look for specific people that have admired Woody's announcing, like Jones.

I assume it's been a long time since the editor that copied and pasted that worked on this article, and they may or may not be active on this wiki (since WP:UNCCH is now inactive), so I won't track down the editor that added that added that to Woody's page.

I think I can also license a photo I took of Woody years ago to Creative Commons and add it to his page. It's not the best picture out there, but I have no idea whether I can can actually convince Flickr users to get a better picture to add to his article. Final template update: I'll continue to work on this article--I feel like it needs more sections added, and it certainly needs updates on Woody past 2011-13 or so. I'll also look into my photos for a photo of Woody. But I feel the questionable parts of the article have been taken care of, so I'm taking the "original research" template off. Plagiarism

I'm not too familiar with articles on Woody Durham, so I can't tell offhand what is plagiarism and what is not. But I've just noticed that the area that starts with a mention of Bob Harris (the sportscaster) comes from either an article or a press release containing these words verbatim. I'm currently taking out plagiarism and sourcing Woody's early life right now, but I wanted to note what I've found cleaning up his article.
