Reception 40 years later? edit

Reviews and random opinions from a handful of blogs nearly 4 decades after it originally aired is hardly representative of the episode's reception at the time it was release.

This sets an interesting precedent though - we can have "Reception" reviews for the plays of Ancient Greece, judging them by how slaves are treated, for example. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8003:2418:EC01:8C15:38E6:F634:606 (talk) 12:48, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Agree. Most of this article is nothing but a feminist rant, arguing that it offends some peoples' 21st century sensibilities. Wikipedia is not meant to be a forum for social justice warriors to air their personal opinions. SimpsonDG (talk) 19:16, 18 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Academics who specialise in pop culture are often not the best, and this is another case in point. We learned this a few episodes ago, in Friday's Child. 2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:AC17:CE7F:F698:53FE (talk) 13:34, 29 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
