Killer edit

This comment is in reference to TAG: "This section may contain original research or unverified claims." with reference to the section titled "Killer variant".

The entire article was tagged for deletion some time ago; see the discussion page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Wink_murder. It was determined there are enough references to validate that this game exists.

There are numerous references to this parlour game being referred to as "Wink Murder", "Wink Wink Murder", "Killer Wink" or "Wink Killer" and so on. I expect it may also be known by several other names as well. I personally learned the dark room, candle, card version of this game as "Killer" and taught it to at least thirty other people over the years. Google "Killer Game" to find several good references with numerous variants of both the name of the game and how it is played. I have removed the tag. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thor21 (talkcontribs) 16:26, 31 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

There are a lot of games called "Killer" out there, and I can't see any obviously useful sources. I've put an "unsourced" tag on the section instead. --McGeddon (talk) 08:34, 19 May 2013 (UTC)Reply
And a couple of months later, I've cut the tabletop candles-and-supporting-votes "Killer" variant. It sounds like a great game, but I can't find any secondary sources that have written about it or linked it to "Wink Murder". For anyone wishing to read about it or restore it with references, this was the latest version of the article that contained it. --McGeddon (talk) 08:43, 12 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
