Dup Text

This article had two identical paragraphs (The article copied on top of itself)

Also, began to format article with right-justified info box, adapted from the PennState article.

Parking times

I changed the parking times you cannot park in lot 5, from 7 am to 2 am, to 2 am to 7 am. The first was just not correct.

Neutrality

This entire article seems to me to be distinctly non-neutral. For example, consider the "alumni" section, which says only "The institution’s full-time faculty is composed of scholars and teachers, many of whom are recipients of awards and grants from the Fulbright Program, the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation. More than 90 percent of full-time faculty members hold the Ph.D. or highest degree in their field." Rather than adding significant factual content, or by listing specific figures associated with the University, this section conveys only the asserted excellence of the teaching faculty. Also, in the intro paragraph, William Paterson is "a leading public university," which is a subjective and inappropriate inclusion.

I might add that much of the content that violates NPOV is courtesy of the user WmPaterson, which obviously suggests that the editor may have a close connection with the subject.

Material added to history section

I removed the following from the history section:

In spring 2018, sorority student Jasmine Barkley, who was elected to the Greek student senate, posted a racist video along with a white female student from Penn State University, in which she used the n-word in an apparent song as well as using vulgar language.[1] She later posted a video saying that her earlier post was not racist, but the administration issued a statement condemning her action.[1][2]

Not sure if it rises to the level of being in a controversy section. Maybe revist in 6 months to a year and see then. --Malerooster (talk) 01:49, 27 April 2018 (UTC)

Notable alumni?

Is it really good to have Grafton E. Thomas on this list? Rubiks6 (talk) 01:07, 19 May 2020 (UTC)
