Scottish? edit

Hello, Scotland is part of Britain. Why this parochialism? Then in the case of Englishmen, the description would have to be Englishman who worked under the British government. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.214.18.101 (talk) 09:39, 6 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Removed new monograph edit

I've just removed a recent addition here. Perhaps the monograph has merit but I hope that my edit summary is self-explanatory. Ideally, we could do with finding an academic review of this monograph, should it ever actually be published. - Sitush (talk) 14:32, 10 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Low class edit

The article is totally low class and is in urgent need of quality enhancement.

QUOTE: logan had a special liking for what is now the state of Kerala and its people.END OF QUOTE

There is no hint of such a suggestion anywhere in Malabar (Manual). Moreover, he was not connected with the people of Kerala, but only with the people of North and South Malabar. In the locations in his book, where it may be presumed that he himself has written the contents, there is no hint of any special love and endearment for the people of north and south Malabar, other than his trying to understand the various problems of the suppressed populations and their suppressing populations. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2405:204:D182:6DCF:6069:CFE:8228:3F42 (talk) 17:22, 13 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
