Began page edit

Started article for W.H.T. Walker, giving it the bare bones of dates and general locations. Much more is neeeded for his early life prior to West point, and his combat in the CW. Info about how he was killed is needed also. Kresock (talk) 06:59, 8 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Notability edit

In 1860, he owned 14 slaves in Richmond County, Georgia. They lived in 5 slave houses. His mother Mary Creswell Walker at the time of that census owned 26 slaves in 9 slave houses.

I can’t see any notability in this statement. These tallies are being increasingly featured in wiki pages. I feel that the category ‘American slave owner’ should be restricted to people whose slave-owning history was notable in itself. Valetude (talk) 04:28, 12 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
