Seems Very Negative edit

This entry seems to have a very negative bias not befitting of a wikipedia entry. Although all of Dick the Bruiser's negatives may be true as stated, it seems like more of an attack than an explanation.

It also seems that it is written by someone who looks down on professional wrestling. Also, this article should really be under "Dick Afflis" since I have seen no evidence that he ever went by "William" during his life. I'll clean it up some. --Darren Jowalsen 17:25, September 5, 2005 (UTC)

Move to "Dick the Bruiser"? RandySavageFTW (talk) 16:07, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose - Subject is deceased, so I think it should be kept at his real name. D.M.N. (talk) 16:08, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
    • I don't. Why should that matter? RandySavageFTW (talk) 16:21, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
      • Take for example Curt Hennig. He's best known as "Mr. Perfect", but as he's deceased, he's better known by his real-name, therefore it goes there. Just my opinion. D.M.N. (talk) 16:32, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
        • I've never heard him referred to by William Afflis. I agree about Hennig, but Afflis is definitely better known as "Dick the Bruiser." RandySavageFTW (talk) 16:40, 26 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Originally WRIF, later became WLLZ edit

Minor nitpick - the Baier character originally started on WRIF-FM, which lasted several years before the whole team moved to WLLZ. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.161.159.124 (talk) 00:11, 29 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sonny Liston edit

At the end it talks about a sonny liston story that is not mentioned throughout the article. I guess if there is a story, is it significant enough to warrant inclusion? But as it is, its just kind of hanging there unexplained. 74.71.27.5 (talk) 19:07, 27 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

William AfflisDick the Bruiser – This is the name the wrestler is best known by. This name is more recognisable. This will allow more direct linking. McPhail (talk) 20:11, 19 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
