Explanation in regard to winning bronze in the 1974 World Championships edit

Dear Sir, I would like to give an explanation:

Mr. Frommelt was a so-called "group two racer" - one racer who was a racer in the second group of the best racers of the World. All groups did consist 15 racers (maybe the last group did consist a lower number), but intra-group, the order of start was given in a draw (it could happen that the best racer had to start with bib number 15). Because he was a "group two racer" it was a surprise that he could catch bronze. In general, in races (in all disciplines) racers of the "group one" will achieve the podium (because they are the better or best racers of the world).

I would like to express that my help to expand is made by cit. the German Wikipedia (and by knowing by myself). Skiscout (talk) 10:05, 14 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
