See the "See also" for more thorough and independent WATC info edit

This article, as another editor has noted, has many serious issues, and lacks (as of April 30, 2017) any secondary sources: the general standard requirement for acceptability as a Wikipedia article.

Consequently, for such Wikpedia info on WATC, it is necessary to visit closely related Wikpedia articles, which address institutions intertwined with WATC, historically or presently. These include:

These links, accordingly, are added to the See also section, selected and presented in conformity to the WP:SEEALSO stnadards. ~ Zxtxtxz (talk) 15:57, 30 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • First off, please don't revert a full edit if you only are re-adding a section. There was nothing wrong with the other edits. Secondly, WP:SEEALSO says "As a general rule, the "See also" section should not repeat links that appear in the article's body." Finally, the see also section goes before the references section which is before the external links section. Corkythehornetfan (ping me) 16:43, 30 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Wichita State University Campus of Applied Sciences and TechnologyWSU Tech – The Institution has rebranded and is currently operating under the name WSU Tech Google is pulling the info for this institution in it's knowledge panel and the old deprecated name is being displayed in search. There for the page should be moved to represent the current name. Pjpta (talk) 14:49, 17 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

  • Comment : the rule is not to follow a search engine algorithm, but the guidelines of Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Please cite the page relevant to support your suggested move. Thank you. 83.228.160.33 (talk) 20:00, 17 July 2018 (UTC).Reply
  • Oppose – WSU Tech is too generic. Current page title is used in news sources. We don't go by how the school brands itself, unless that is the WP:COMMONNAME, which I don't think it is. Corky 20:12, 17 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose, fails WP:PRECISE (there are at least 10 "WSU" universities in the US alone). Also per WP:COMMONNAME, MOS:ABBR, WP:RECOGNIZABLE, MOS:TM, etc. This is not Abbreviatipedia, and we also do not mimic marketing/logo stuff. The institution is still the Wichita State University Campus of Applied Sciences and Technology.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  10:42, 18 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. We don't follow the desires of marketing managers. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:54, 18 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
