It appears you're trying to enter articles with HTML coding. Might I suggest you read Wikipedia:Tutorial for some easier wiki formatting tips? Also, be careful about our WP:NPOV policy. He may have been "a man of great thinking" or something like that, but saying so in the article, violates the policy. I also saw you got sidetracked a few times. Information about the painting doesn't really belong in his biography. And neither is information about the city's development. Try staying on topic and discuss only what is relevant to Brown's life. My Reply to the Above Statement

Whitford James Brown IS My grandfather - My fathers father, and was the FIRST MAYOR of Porirua City, Wellington, New Zealand.

Therefore; it is fair to state that what I have written is relevent to the development of Porirua City; and is truthful and factual, plus fully endorsed by the New Zealand Government; along with the Porirua City Council - most of the info is from them, including the Alexander Turnbull Library. - Thus I am staying on topic.
