Whitchurch hospital edit
What is the controversy surrounding Whitchurch hospital referred to in the article text? A quick Google suggests:
- Whitchurch is the largest psychi hospital in Wales
- Someone is building a leisure centre or a garden village on its site (Is it going, shrinking, gone, what?)
- BBC: Patient lay dead for 10 hours (2003)
- BBC: Report questions patients' safety (2004/5)
- BBC: Family anger at 'needless' deaths (2005)
The last three are all to do with the elderly mental services there. I am not sure that "controversial" is really the right word for the article: that makes it sound as though the controversy is about the existence of the hospital (see second story: does that mean it's going, or a new unit being built on the site of the old one?)
