Unresolved issues edit
- Was it the Atkin Eric or Thistle? The source I think is more reliable says the Eric.
- Figured it out — Thistle was a trunk-cabin Eric. So, I guess the Kendall really was an Eric, and the Westsail was a trunk-cabin Kendall. [1] — Johan the Ghost seance 11:25, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- What year was Archer's design?
- Any more info on Regis Voyager?
- Were the kit boats fitted with bulkheads at the factory?
- How many kits were sold without ballast installed?
- Could do with more info on interior layouts (mine was a kit).
- How many boats were ketch-rigged?
- 12 layers of fibreglass? I thought 12, but one reference says 24.
- Could use a lot more info on the impact of the design; what double-ended designs followed on, how many were directly inspired by the Westsail, etc.
- True North
- To what extent Bob Perry's boats (Valiant 40 etc)?
- What else?
- Probably should mention the impact of the oil crisis (on the price of resin, and hence boats being sold for pre-set prices at a loss).
- Statistics on the number of Westsails to circumnavigate? number still seaworthy?
- Can we work in anecdotes (eg. about Westsails that have survived rolls, or the one that survived being T-boned by a freighter) while remaining encyclopedic?
- Could do with info on production facilities.
- Any more ideas?

Removed inks edit
Wikipedia has a policy of no advertising links, hence I've removed the Worldcruiser link. (Sorry, Bud.) — Johan the Ghost seance 11:25, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Kendall 32 article edit
I've made this article the Kendall 32 article too, as I don't think the Kendall warrants a separate article, unless we get a load more information on it. The two boats have a load in common, anyhow. So, we could do with covering the Kendall more in the "Design" section, for example by talking about the interior (very different to a Westsail, but I've only seen one). — Johan the Ghost seance 13:01, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
Images edit
The images that were here originally have apparently been removed because they were untagged. It would be great to get them back, or get other Westsail/Kendall images, but they have to have appropriate free licences. — Johan the Ghost seance 20:41, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
- I've filled in with some more pictures.... but they're all of the same boat (mine). If anyone else has some good pictures, feel free to contribute them. — Johan the Ghost seance 16:30, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
