I have added a small piece of content about the need for end users to compare web accelerator products before purchasing/installing. I am hoping to continually develop some of the content in this article as and when the need arises (and I have the time).
I also removed the need for expert moderation markup. I am currently working for a UK based ISP/Web Accelerator and feel that i could be deemed an expert. If anyone disagrees I'll be happy to discuss the matter further.

Server side location should probably be splitted up into two sub categories,
- ISP - to speed up the isp:s customers downaloads
- Content provider server / web server - to speed up access to all visitors of that web site. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.182.181.242 (talk) 22:29, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Duplicative edit
The subject matter of this article overlaps almost completely with that of the reverse proxy article, which predates it by a couple of months. It would probably be a good idea to move the table to reverse proxy and replace this page with a redirect. DES (talk) 13:32, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
Adding Opera Turbo edit
I'm thinking of adding Opera Turbo as a two-section proxy under the Client-server heading and under web client accelerators. Anyone against this? Fredrikc (talk) 08:26, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
