Comments:

  1. "The 50.52-mile (81.30 km) long route runs northeast from an interchange with Interstate 5 in Washington (I-5)": Do not need to indicate Interstate 5 is in Washington as it is redundant. Also, a wikilink to Interstate 5 in Washington would help here.
  2. Can more descriptive information about the route be added to the lead?
  3. "as the name implies" is redundant.
  4. " the road aligns itself northeast" sounds awkward.
  5. "In Trafton, which is located in Arlington Heights, SR 530 passes a road that leads to the Jim Creek Naval Radio Station, a United States Navy facility; from Trafton, the road crosses a railroad track used by the BNSF Railway before crossing the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River in Cicero." should be broken into two sentences.
  6. "the North Fork" sounds colliqual.
  7. Shouldn't the information about the traffic counts at the I-5 interchange be mentioned earlier in the route description?
  8. Do not use "then" in describing progression of route.
  9. The sentence "The road then turned south to parallel railroad tracks belonging to the Great Northern Railroad and the South Fork of the Skagit River to Milltown, where SR 530 intersected Milltown Road, which would later interchange with I-5 to the east." sounds wordy.
  10. "The highway exited North Stanwood to enter Stanwood and intersected SR 532." should be rephrased to "The highway exited North Stanwood to enter Stanwood, where it intersected SR 532."
  11. Can more information about the physical surroundings the route passes through (i.e. woods, residential areas) be added to the route description?
  12. The sentence "A 1911 map shows a road from Conway traveled south to Stanwood and east past Arlington towards Oso and Darrington." sounds awkward.
  13. Dates should not be wikilinked.
  14. "which the highway follows" sounds redundant.
  15. "construction crews unearth remains", "unearth" should be "unearthed".
  16. I noticed a good deal of the recent history describes minor construction projects. We had a problem with this in the ACR of Washington State Route 31. Can you remove all the non-notable projects?
