place in the minstrel show edit

The walkaround often served as the finale to the minstrel show. I'm under the impression that the the walkaround was the conclusion to only the first half of the minstrel show, the semi-circle, and was followed by an intermission, olio (where specialty acts were performed) and an afterpiece.
