I question whether this topic meets the general notability guideline. Aside from a mass of trivial examples (since removed), I'm not seeing significant published coverage of the gag itself. Google books shows more instances of the use of the joke, but very little interpretation, synthesis, or evaluation of the topic from reliable sources.
One caveat: the book Just Because You're an Expert... Doesn't Make You Interesting from self-publishing company BookBaby contains a near-verbatim transcription of an earlier version of this article's introduction – clearly not a reliable source. —Sangdeboeuf (talk) 23:22, 1 May 2017 (UTC)
