It has been suggested that the page for the page for the Kołos Medal should be merged with with that for Włodzimierz Kołos. I don't think that's a good idea. It would be like merging the pages for the Nobel Prize and for Alfred Nobel. Naming a prize after someone honours them, but the prize develops a life of its own. Oppose — The article about the Kołos Medal lists the winners of the award. New names will continue to be added. On the other hand, the article about Włodzimierz Kołos lists the awards and medals that he had received. It would be confusing to put new names in Kołos biography if the Kołos Medal recipients were listed within Kołos article. — CZmarlin (talk) 05:00, 10 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
