Since his body was unrecognisable after exhumation, how was he identified. 8-? --Light current 14:21, 12 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Although not the author of the "confusing" sentence, I have corrected it somewhat. Hopefully you are back in a current of light again, and out of the Strange mind frame that the poor choice of words put you in. Dr. Dan 13:25, 13 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't this article be toned down a little? I mean, Lithuanian soldier is fine, Lithuania patriot is on the border, but martyr? //Halibutt 07:00, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Heh, this sounds like heroic poem, not an enciclopaedia entry:)--Lokyz 10:55, 30 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

MARTYR edit

This massacre of Lithuanian citizenshelped built an understanding of the evils of the Soviet occupation of Lithuania. Martyr is an appropriate word and is used in several of the references cited including the latest book published only a few months ago. All of those killed were innocent of any wrongdoing and martyr seems an appropriate word.
