Spurious Introduction? edit

The introduction, with appalling grammar, reads as if it was written by a meatpuppet. I recommend gutting it. Olivcm (talk) 03:03, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

PR Effort edit

The overall tone of this article reads as if its taken from public relation sources. Several lines can be found on sites promoting Vizag, including one quote from the Vizag Steel website.

"The Coke Ovens of VSP are engineering feats by themselves" is also found at Vizag Steel: [1]

"The beauty of the Township is that it sits in the cradle of the unspoilt forest belt" & "The continued afforestation efforts of the management has ensured a green and pollution-free environment" & "Last but not the least is the vistas that the Big Kanithi Balancing reservoir offers." are also found at VIZAG - Heaven on the Earth: [2]

"The beautiful and well planned township for the employees of the plant" is also found at Vizag 27 by 7: [3]

"...bagged first prize" & "Vizag Steel Plant today is among the lowest cost steel producers in the world." are also found at Vizag Business Watch: [4]

The plant was a project of SAIL when it started. Sometime in the 1980's it was spun off as a separate company. More information would be helpful.

By the way, I gave the source a look, and it talks about Rashtriya Ispat Nigam, not about this plant, so some thought needs to be given as to how to write this. --Muhandes (talk) 08:34, 7 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
