List of constituent colleges edit

In the Indian educational system, a list of colleges affiliated with a university is not cruft nor directory material. Colleges and universities are separate entities that work in tandem. You are admitted to a college and the college instructs you. When your instruction is complete, you apply to the university for a degree. It is not like in the United States, where colleges are merely part of the internal organization of a university.Acsenray (talk) 19:53, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
