Funding

The Funding section states: "Within three years of being founded, the VVMF had collected over $8 million in funds from over 275,000 investors."

My question is why was the word "investors" used instead of the expected word "donors"? The word investors usually means that the person is investing in ordder to receive a return such as profit, interest, or dividends. The VVMF is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) and as such may only receive funds that are donations not investments.

I changed the word to donors but if someone can give an explanation why investors was used then perhaps it could be change back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gregory Wonderwheel (talk • contribs) 08:28, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
