- Alas, this has become a collection of statements written in present and future tense, not appropriate for wikipedia. Generally we should only describe things that happened in the past, and give the date. For example, in 2011 blah offered the VDSL service.<ref>{{cite ref with date}}</ref> Otherwise it gets out of date if you say "currently" and someone reads it five years later. And it might have been "most advanced" in 2006, but some day there might be another one, for example. W Nowicki (talk) 00:14, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

Direct TV under the North America Header edit
Direct TV doesn't intend to use VDSL2 to deliver to individual units, does it? That part of the section doesn't make sense and it reads like an advertisement. --SilverhandTalk 15:28, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

Max. downstream throughput edit
Profile table shows max. downstream throughput (such as 50Mbps for 8a thru 200 for 30a), but whole column appears to be taken from what ITU-T G.993.2 [1] lists as: "Required minimum bidirectional net data rate capability (MBDC)" (something quite different): therefore article is misleading and inaccurate. Earlier article gives a theoretical maximum of 250Mbps, but this profile table lists only up to 200Mbps: article is contradictory, both cannot be true. Brook13wk (talk) 06:59, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
