Edible? edit

Is it edible or used in food? Badagnani (talk) 22:11, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I could find no references for the use of this oilseed product in food products. All the available references described industrial, non-food uses, as does the article itself. I removed the food tags for that reason.Geoff (talk) 21:54, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

a couple problems edit

The IUPAC name given for vernolic acid is inconsistent with the IUPAC name given for coronaric acid.

derived from the C-12-C13 alkene of linoleic acid and exists ? both the (+)- and (-)-
