unreferenced edit

not sure if I did that tag right, but that trivia fact I put in a section is unreferenced and there're so few facts in the article... Kuronue 02:16, 19 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

stub tag edit

this article WAS tagged a stub- a heavy metal stub. But, whatever. Kuronue 16:58, 20 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, trying to do too many things at the same time. Thanks for catching that. Cheers. L0b0t 17:02, 20 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I think it was FOUR piano notes at the end: G#, A#, E, and D#. -Jmaster443

Spelling edit

I just fixed at least ten spelling errors in this article. When people are writing/editing, they should be sure they spell things correctly.--FaerytaleMalice 21:35, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

"alluding to the duel nature of unrequited love" shouldn't it be dual? (not a user)

Yes, Slipknot = WOOOO!!

Filming "Vermilion" edit

After watching the video, I've noticed that the girl's animation is very "choppy" compared to the heavily-sped-up "outside world".
You don't suppose that the video was filmed using stop motion techniques, do you?88.107.46.39 19:08, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

One of very few songs to have all members playing??? edit

While it is true all of them play on this one, there are a good amount of songs where everyone plays. Let's see.... (Sic) Surfacing Spit it out People=Sh*t The heritic anthem I'am hated Three Nil Welcome (one of the best examples of all of them playing) Pulse of the maggots

There might be more but I can't think of them....I think everything ends and my plague might also be ones but it's late at night so I'm not going to listen to them now. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.185.2.125 (talk) 03:33, 2 March 2007 (UTC).Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Slipknot vermilion pt 2.jpg edit

Image:Slipknot vermilion pt 2.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:42, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Both categorizations change every few days. I have no idea how to categorize music genres, so I leave it be. Kuronue | Talk 20:36, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

alright. thanx for letting me know that. couldn't the bloodstone mix be categorized as pop rock though? Lpfan4eva1990 14:36, 3 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nu-Metal edit

@Brady108: Really? You found your prefered genre mentioned in a town newspaper and you except it will fly here. I challange your reference and call for consensus. - FlightTime (open channel) 21:14, 20 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

@FlightTim: I may not agree of it being a nu metal song but they did the same source link with Duality. Brady108 (talk) 00:54, 21 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
