Content deletion

Soetermans, i will be glad that you stop deleting content from this article without reasons. "Ce" and "More of the same" are not valid reasons to delete information from an article. So please, stop deleting the information on this article. If i see you keep deleting it i will have to document a report against your account and present it to any moderator of this platform. @Sgront: See WP:VGSCOPE, they were deleting excessive gameplay detail, listing specific characters/planes/levels is not needed for an encyclopedic understanding of the game, and removing it is not vandalism. Waxworker (talk) 17:05, 12 December 2022 (UTC)

@Waxworker: A lot of videogame-related articles on Wikipedia talk about the characters, levels, bosses, weapons and more, and they don't have their information deleted. Instead, it even gets expanded by other Wikipedia users. If Wikipedia is only about encyclopedic understanding, then the plot, ratings and more are not needed, as i doubt then that nobody wants to know the rating of a common 1992 Arcade game.

Also, by the same reasoning, am i free to delete the names of the "Righteous Among The Nations" because they are not enciclopedically important for that article, but maintain their articles for people who want to know about their lives and acts?

People must understand that deleting real and valid information on articles is a way to make the articles less relevant and slowly destroy them. If Wikipedia votes to destroy the information and article expansions, then i understand that the WP:VGSCOPE article allows me to delete the information about the Resident Evil, HALO and Legend of Zelda characters among the series as it is not encyclopedically needed data to understand the article. I've protected the page. I recommend editors not already familiar with it, to read up on WP:GAMECRUFT and WP:POINT. Probably WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS too probably - just because you witness errors elsewhere on Wikipedia does not justify having them here. Any more personal attacks or threats will be removed on the spot.
