Town to village transition edit
I changed all the words reading town in the article to village, since the basic requirements of a village clearly state that a settlement must have between 5 and 30 families. Van Tassell meets the obligations for a village, so that's why I edited the article. Mel (talk) 01:09, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- That's a commentary on how villages have often been throughout history. "Village" is often a legal designation in the USA, meaning that some villages are larger: Hempstead, New York has over fifty thousand residents, but it is still a village. Van Tassell is legally a town (there are no official villages in Wyoming), so it should be kept that way. Nyttend (talk) 16:10, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
