unsigned undated edit

Safety data sheet is partially generated based on my experience of 9 year practice. Welcome other practitioners to make further editing. The restriction on diet is very critical due to the nature of the dharma which is not for the people who is unable to meet the requirement. Anyone who is interested in practicing Buddhist dharma, there are heeps of other kinds which do not have these restrictions. Plese do come forward to show your interest and I'm sure you will be served by some qualified buddhist teacher. I have been confused that if the lineage requirement is needed for chanting the mantra only, as the mantra audio files can be downloaded everywhere on the internet without any restrictions. Therefore I leave this for the high profile persons in this field to write it.

Comparison of disease rate of halah meat eater and non-halah meat eater? edit

To me, the discipline of the practice on diet is not a root-cut management but a evidence based management. I'll be interested to see a scientific research on the comparison of disease rate occurred between the groups of halal meat eaters and non-halal meat eaters, although the definition of halal has not been updated for centuries.

Buddhist iconography needs to be cleaned..... edit

Although the published books about the deity is listed, some of the book covers remain questioning. To me, I don't think that the ponorgraphic pictures on the internet can be well managed unless the religious iconography is reformed. The same theory applies to the world peace as well, if the fierce images and icons related to deaths and fightings are to be delisted.

A call for a scientific validation of Vajrasattva dharma.... edit

Since there are three published versions, one is from Lama Yeshe only, another from Lama Thubten Zopa only, and the third from either of the above in conjunction with the safety data for practicing, or for reciting mantra only, I wish that social scientists would be able to put the validation on agenda.

Practice Notes edit

Seems to me that the practice notes are completely out of place here. We should focus on information about Vajrasattva, not about some sectarian ritual! mahaabaala 17:09, 22 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Practise notes, safety data etc edit

Please do not post that, it is not in accordance with Buddhist practise! Clearly, the poster draws it from the 'Diamond Approach' or whatever and should not confuse Vajrasattva practice with whatever ritual they perform. Outer cleanliness will be found only in Kriya, Carya and Yoga tantra forms of Vajrasattva. However, the restrictions are limited to being vegetarian on the day of initiation. Please provide your sources of information which comes from a qualified lama of a proper lineage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jmlee369 (talkcontribs) 20:53, 9 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

bodhisattva or Buddha? edit

I was given to believe that Vajrasattva represented the Buddha state of mind - the Diamond Mind. Doesn't that make Vajrasattva technically a Buddha rather then a Boddhisatva as Boddhisatvas' have not yet gone into Nirvanna whilest Vajrasattva represents the Nirvana state of mind. Also given that Vajrasattva is a manifestation of Buddha, or Nirvana, state of mind and isn't realy "real" (i.e. never incarnated as an individual or actually atained Bodhisatva and/or Buddha state) does he realy fit into the catergories of Buddha or Bodhisatva? To my knowledge all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have either attained their respective states or will in the case of the future Buddha (Maitreya). Is there a special catergory for Vajrasattva? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.99.230.147 (talk) 13:54, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
