I've created this article as an unsourced short stub because I can't find much information about this format, yet it seems to be a quite important interchange format used by a lot of software, particularly different models of mobile phone and the desktop software designed to support them. A description of it must have been published somewhere, as it's in use by multiple vendors and supported by a large number of different software applications, but I've been unable to find it.
