History Section Shows Biases edit

The last three paragraphs of the history section appear to show significant biases against USCA in light of the dismissal of Jeff Plush as CEO and removal of the GNCC at a member organization last year.

In the third to last paragraph, the writer of this portion makes insinuations about the USA Curling policies and decisions, stating that it's decision to remove the GNCC was "heavy-handed" and that hiring Jeff Plush in 2020 was "another controversial act" that it performed. While I am not disagreeing with these sentiments or anyone's ability to see these events in these ways, it seems as if it is written in a way to push the reader into believing USA Curling is bad.

It continues more egregiously in the next paragraph when it calls the press release given by the USA Curling Board a "weak, generic statement." Again, I do not necessarily disagree with these sentiments, but this language is very charged and again reinforces that USA Curling is bad.

I am not the most active on wikipedia so forgive me if I am wrong, but it was my belief that this site exists to give the facts on a given topic, not force an opinion in a specific way. This language I point out very clearly exists to paint USA Curling in a bad light. It's important to report on the mistakes of USA Curling, but let's let their actions speak for themselves rather than attempting to make the reader feel one way or another, especially in issues that are very divisive and don't appear to have a clear right and wrong.
