Image copyright problem with Image:Ballad of the Green Berets.jpg edit

The image Image:Ballad of the Green Berets.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --14:43, 12 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Confusion between US Army Special Forces and US Army Special Operations Forces edit

Throughout this page, entitled "United States Army Special Forces in popular culture", there are several references to units that are not US Army SF. US Army SF is a term specifically applied to the "Green Berets" in the US Army. One would not refer to a US Army Ranger as "SF", but rather as part of an "SOF", or Special Operations Force.

This detail might seem irrelevant, but it is not. The difference is huge. If this page is referring to US Army SF, then all listings of Rangers, SFOD-D, CAG, DEVGRU,etc have no place here..
