I added the "Split" request as there appears to be enough information out there to justify splitting the two films. Also, the info for them is a bit muddled (not too bad) in the article. SkierRMH 05:35, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

My concern is that there is not enough material for 2 articles. No poster or VHS cover exists from the original version and almost nothing is known about it. One suggestion is that the article be rewritten in such a way that it is principly about the much more notable 1932 version, with a short mention of the earlier silent version by the same director (Oswald) in his youth. I agree that the 1932 film should be the "star" of this article; the earlier film does deserve a section unto itself. Doing a quick g-search, there are several books (including a Steven King translation) of the same title, which could get an additional section. The only thing I couldn't find right off was the book which was the basis for these films, which would be good in this final section, or split off by itself. SkierRMH 01:57, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
