So, was this a real band or a manufactured boy band? I've never heard of them before. Frvernchanezzz (talk) 07:18, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

They were/are a boy band but not a manufactured one as they were playing together before they got a record deal. They play their own instruments and write their own songs.Jud (talk) 20:01, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Ultra cd.JPG edit

Image:Ultra cd.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Ultra (British band)Ultra (band) – unambiguous 162 etc. (talk) 22:02, 18 November 2023 (UTC) This is a contested technical request (permalink). 162 etc. (talk) 17:46, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

@162 etc. before the British band is moved, can you help to think what other dab to give for this article, Big Time (Ultra album), in relation to Ultramagnetic MCs, which was previously at Ultra (American band)? – robertsky (talk) 03:58, 19 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Yes, I don't think this should go ahead, Ultra (American band) is a legitimate notable alternative, and not significant enough for a PDAB primary topic.  — Amakuru (talk) 08:10, 19 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
A hatnote to Ultramagnetic MCs should be fine. Big Time (Ultra album) may not even meet WP:NALBUM. 162 etc. (talk) 17:36, 19 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
    That would still be a WP:INCOMPLETEDAB / WP:PDAB one way or another. — BarrelProof (talk) 23:56, 20 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ultra (American band) seems legitimate enough to be ambiguous. We should keep the current title, or a least hold a RM. Certes (talk) 10:48, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. It was pointed out at RM/TR that this is an ambiguous title, and not sufficiently primary over the other to overcome the high bar for WP:PDAB. Not sure why we're here to be honest.  — Amakuru (talk) 19:30, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose WP:INCOMPLETEDAB / WP:PDAB. There are at least two articles on Wikipedia that discuss the other topic that fits the description, and no evidence has been given of great dominance for the British one. — BarrelProof (talk) 23:25, 21 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
