Absolutely. Btw, I have no opinion about that deletion process or a potensial deletion process with this recent article, I just wanted to inform about the former version since there were new contributers on this new article. As long as there are sources (hopefully media i suppose) about the potensial bids, I'm perfectly happy, and for the comparrison: the information about the bidding process for Euro 2016 is kept at UEFA Euro 2016 bids. The overall content may be different, but the reasons for deletion that we came up with at the AfD are still applicable. There is still no evidence that the tournament will actually occur beyond an assumption that the four-year cycle that the tournament currently follows will continue beyond UEFA Euro 2016. Even the "bids" mentioned in the article are only tentative at present, since UEFA has not opened the bidding process yet. There is no source for the "Expanded Format" section, and the "Hosting requirements" section is pure conjecture based on an assumption that there will be no changes to the Euro 2016 hosting requirements. The whole reasoning that the cup is not certain to work is completely unnecesary. If future was not allowed to be put on wikipedia, there would be much less information, like how there would be no article on the World Cup 2014, 2018, and 2022. Note that the articles say "will be", therefore they are completely valid. Concerning assumption, it is not that, as the article is explaining that there is interest in hosting the cup, not that those are bids. You can rule out Turkey because Turkey declared candidancy to host 2020 olympics officially.

The only German "accent" marks are a diaeresis above a, o, and u (Ää, Öö, Üü) and the s-z ligature (ẞß). None of those letters are needed in the article.--31.17.92.168 (talk) 13:22, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

Only potential final venues

I see that so far only potential final venues are being mentioned in this article. (I presume) we keep it to that for now? So no mentioning of possible group games host cities (like Kyiv or Donetsk)? Agree. Only until more information about other host cities became available. If I'm not wrong that decisions should be made during next year or so. How can Spanish bid have 4 cities?

Even this article states the rules about standard and finals package as follows: "Each association may bid for either or both of the above packages (same city or two different cities)." Baku is cut off the map.

Is there any way we can squeeze Baku onto the map? It's just annoying - maybe we can put it up on the most far right hand side. Popsiclesare (talk) 05:07, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

There's a second map below which includes Ankara and Baku. A new 'base map' (perhaps 'Location Map UEFA') would have to be created to incorporate Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan on it. I'm trying a 'see map below' fix as well. --Super Nintendo Chalmers (talk) 08:55, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Map of Asia

Using a complete map of Asia to show the Kazakh and Azerbaijani bidding cities that don't fit in the European map is pretty ugly.
